Index Care are delighted to have recently recruited Claire as our new Public Relations and Communications Manager.  

Claire has worked in a bank, for British Gas, as a nursery nurse, Manager in a privately run day nursery, as an NVQ Assessor in Childcare and Education and as an Internal Verifier. Recently Claire worked as a Designated EHCP Key Worker.  

Claire’s career in caring began with the birth of her son, who has Down syndrome, she volunteered by running Stay and Play sessions, Tots to Toddlers, a twins group and a Down syndrome support group.

In 2010 she joined Bexley Voice for Special Needs Children, Bexley’s Parent/Carer Forum and has been the Chair for the past five years; she is also Chair and Street Co-ordinator of her local Neighbourhood Watch.  

Claire is very interested in, committed and dedicated to, all areas of care and preparing for adulthood. She is constantly promoting understanding and aspirations of children and adults with learning disabilities.
