Mary came into this business with a great passion for helping people, especially people with special needs.

Mary has three daughters and many years ago decided to adopt 3 week old twin boys; both boys have very complex learning difficulties from birth but are now full grown and thriving.

Mary has a vast resumé and extensive experience, working in a bank, in care, helping in a variety of settings supporting people with learning difficulties and mental illness, working with the elderly in nursing homes, all whilst studying her B.Sc. (Hons) in Health and Learning Disabilities.

Mary has a keen interest in local communities and is also a very valuable volunteer for her Parent/Carer forum.  

Mary also has, over the last thirteen years, been a Shared Life Carer, looking after adults with learning disabilities from her own home.  

Mary is committed and confident, always striving to ensure that the highest quality of support, attention, care, respect and dignity is delivered to all at Index Care.
